9:00am & 10:30am Services
We had announced on December 14th that we would soon go to two services each Sunday to partner with how God is building his church, but we weren’t sure exactly what that looked like yet. We have now decided on the service times! Beginning April 5th, Easter Sunday, the services will be at 9:00am and 10:30am each Sunday.
Easter Choir
We had so much fun with our Christmas Choir and such great feedback from all of you that we’re planning to have a choir for Easter Sunday! Rehearsals will be held on March 17th, 24th, and 31st from 7:00-8:30pm, and the choir will perform at both services on Easter. Whether you sang in our Christmas Choir or not, all are welcome. Volunteer Medical Response Team
We are working to form a medical response team who would be the go-to contacts to help in case of an emergency at church. If you are trained in first aid, CPR, AED, etc, are calm in the middle of medical emergencies, and would be willing to be part of this team, please talk to Bobby Anderson (330-201-1053).
Spring Baby Dedication
We will be having a baby dedication on Sunday, March 22nd. If you have a child you would like to have dedicated, or if you are interested about what this means for you and your child and want to learn more, please sign up in the Resource Room by March 1st.
Monthly Game Nights
We took a pause for a while, but we’ll be starting our monthly game nights back up! There’s no agenda to these last Saturdays of the month - you can bring a game you like or you can count on Jimmy Banks to bring a few games of his own. That will officially start back up here at Southside on March 28th from 6:00-9:00pm.
Amazon Wish List
We’ve created an Amazon wish list that we’ll update periodically with current needs throughout the year as another option to serve Southside for those able to do so. Purchasing items from our wish list helps to make our Sunday morning gatherings thrive - anything from diapers for the babies in the nursery, to snacks & supplies for our Kids Ministry, to energy boosts for the adults via coffee. Zine Submissions
Altered is our Art + Literacy mini magazine, a compilation of art through poems, photography, other writings, and more - all submitted by Southsiders! If you have a submission, please email that to Rhea Sustar at zine@southsidewooster.com
Snow Days
As we head into the likelihood of more snowy Sunday mornings, if we need to cancel service due to the weather, we will plan to post that information by 7AM on both our website and our Facebook page. We won’t have a “we’re still having church” message for all snowy days, but if you don’t see a cancellation announcement, you can expect we’ll be here to welcome you in. There’s always room for your own discretion, so if you are uncomfortable driving in the snow when we still have service, you’re more than welcome to stay home and join us online through our Facebook live stream.
