Monthly Game Nights

We took a pause for a while, but we’ll be starting our monthly game nights back up! There’s no agenda to these last Saturdays of the month - you can bring a game you like or you can count on Jimmy Banks to bring a few games of his own. That will officially start back up here at Southside on March 28th from 6:00-9:00pm.

9:00am & 10:30am Services

As we partner with how God is building his church, we are launching an ongoing second service on Sunday mornings. Beginning April 5th, Easter Sunday, the services will be at 9:00am and 10:30am each Sunday. However, we absolutely love our meet and greet time after each service because it’s an important time for connection and personal ministry to one another. If we find we need a little more time between services, we may adjust the service times accordingly.

Spring Cleaning

Spring is almost here! And with that comes spring cleaning as we shake off the dust of a cold winter spent inside. We’re asking for your help to refresh our building on Saturday, April 18th from 9:00am-12:00pm. Check out the sign up sheet in the Resource Room and get your name on there to choose your favorite task before it’s taken. Maybe grab a family member or friend and sign up together. You know what they say: many hands make light work!

Lost & Found

Come take a peek at our Lost & Found Claim table in the lobby and see if you lost something you didn’t even realize you lost. Any unclaimed items at the end of March will be thrown out or donated.

Resource Room Update

We now have the capability to accept card payments when buying a book from the Resource Room. It’s a small self-service kiosk pre-loaded with the books we have on the shelves. And we still have the dropbox on the wall if you prefer to use cash or checks. All books are sold at a slight discount from retail price, but if you aren’t in a financial position to purchase a book and really want to read it, please take it anyway as a gift from us.

Amazon Wish List

We’ve created an Amazon wish list that we’ll update periodically with current needs throughout the year as another option to serve Southside for those able to do so. Purchasing items from our wish list helps to make our Sunday morning gatherings thrive - anything from diapers for the babies in the nursery, to snacks & supplies for our Kids Ministry, to energy boosts for the adults via coffee.
