Christmas Eve Service

We know some of you have your own traditions with family on Christmas Eve and we don’t want to take you away from those. But for those who don’t have somewhere to go and want to be with your Southside community, we’re having a Christmas Eve service this year! Mark your calendars to join us on December 24th at 6pm for a cozy family friendly service (no nursery or kids ministry). Bring the kids in their pajamas so they’re ready for bed when you get back home.

Listen to our Family Meeting

If you weren’t able to be here last Sunday (Dec 14th), we would love for you to listen to the replay of the Family Meeting portion of our service. Greg, Cara, and Bobby provided a lot of great information about Kids Ministry, our volunteer needs, and how we’re planning to partner with Jesus as he grows his church. You can find that replay here simply named “Family Meeting - 12/14/25" on our Sermons page, or find it on our normal Sunday morning podcast wherever you listen to your podcasts.

No Service Dec 28th

As has been our tradition for years, we will continue our pattern to take the first Sunday after Christmas off to allow everyone a little rest during what can often be a busy and full holiday. There will be no Sunday morning service on December 28th.

Snow Days

As we head into the likelihood of more snowy Sunday mornings, if we need to cancel service due to the weather, we will plan to post that information by 7AM on both our website and our Facebook page. We won’t have a “we’re still having church” message for all snowy days, but if you don’t see a cancellation announcement, you can expect we’ll be here to welcome you in. There’s always room for your own discretion, so if you are uncomfortable driving in the snow when we still have service, you’re more than welcome to stay home and join us online through our Facebook live stream.

Year-End Giving

Thank you for giving generously this year, both toward our general fund and the special projects we’ve taken on! As we approach the new year, we’re asking if you would consider helping us finish the calendar year strong with a year-end gift. Whether this might be your first time giving to Southside or you are a committed giver already, we appreciate the heart of your generosity. In order for your gift to count in 2025 for tax deduction purposes, please ensure we receive it on or before December 31. There is a physical offering box at the back of the sanctuary on Sundays or you can give online (see the “Give” tab in the heading at the top of this page) .
